It’s homegrown season and you know what that means…it’s like a farmers market down here! We already have home-grown strawberries and zucchini on hand and blueberries and corn are right around the corner. We’ll also have Chambersburg peaches later this month.
Now’s the Time to Buy Our Salmon.
We’re also in the heart of the salmon season. We’ve been bringing in Alaskan salmon here for the past couple weeks. If you haven’t tried our Alaskan season, you’re missing some of the finest available during the summer. Make it part of your summer grilling season - it’s delicious!
New Prepared Foods Department…We Make Your Life a Little Easier & Tastier…
It’s perfect for those looking for a quick, affordable home-cooked meal. The new department features a wide selection of homemade dinners available each day for customers to pick up and take home (hot or cold).
Along with the dinners, accompanying foods to complete the meals will be shelved nearby to simplify week night dinners.
Some of the selections will include lasagna, meatloaf, stir fry, stews and dishes featuring lamb, veal, chicken and seafood. Foods will be available in both a special hot service case and, in a refrigerated case near the Meat Department.
Customers can take hot selections home and immediately serve them; cold selections can be quickly heated in the oven or microwave.
